Hayden's First Haircut

Well, I had to finally break down and go get it cut. His hair had just gotten a little too unruly for my liking. So on our anniversary, we took Hayden and Mari Cate AND Mommy to get haircuts. I will post pictures of mine and Mari Cate's as soon as I get pictures. Hayden did so well!! He sat on Frank's lap and pretty much did not move!! He will turn his head every once in a while, but didn't make a sound while she was cutting or using the clippers! You can see in the picture with P.J. that he is about to fall asleep---I think he enjoyed it! The picture where Conner is holding him is before the haircut. He looks like a little boy now--not as much a baby! Be sure to click on the collage to see the pictures better.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FRANK!

Today, we have been married 19 years. I must say that 99% of those years have been wonderful. I think that says a lot really. We have had some ups and downs like any other married couple, but I think we are in for the duration...: )

Through the years we have been through a lot together and with God's help we made it through all those little mountains. I give HIM praise for that today.

I couldn't imagine my life without you Frank. I love you and I thank God for giving you to me.

Thank you for our 19 years together and I pray that there are way more than for us to enjoy together!

My kids got out of school for this...

Can you believe they let the schools out for this? It has been snowing most of the day, pretty big flakes (you can see them in Mari Cate's hair), but for most of the day it hasn't been cold enough for it to lay much on the ground. This is probably our "big" snow for the year....haha!!

A Great Deal on Diapers

Yesterday one of my friends told me about a deal on Huggies diapers. One of our local Walmart's had the box that usually sells for about $21.00 on salefor $13.98!! I paired that sale up with the Huggies coupons that were in the paper a few weeks ago and got an excellent deal at $12.50/box!! I don't know if these are on sale at all the Walmart's but it sure doesn't hurt to check it out!! The picture doesn't show theactual box I got, because there are 68 diapers in my box.

Some great finds

I just HAD to share this adorable little tool set that I found for Hayden yesterday at a thrift store. It has the little tool box and a saw and screwdriver. I don't sew or anything, so I am not absolutely sure, but it seems to be made out of some kind of felt like material. It is soft and probably has some foam inside to help the tool box stand up. But here is the best part...guess how much I paid for this little cutie?

Wasn't that the bargain of the day??? I sure thought so!!

And here is another bargain that I got the other day by couponing. Walgreens had this Sunsilk Mouse on sale for $1.09 per bottle. I had a coupon for $2.00 off of 2 bottles. So I bought 2 bottles and paid 18 cents plus tax for both of them!!! Wowwwwww!!!!
