Some great finds

I just HAD to share this adorable little tool set that I found for Hayden yesterday at a thrift store. It has the little tool box and a saw and screwdriver. I don't sew or anything, so I am not absolutely sure, but it seems to be made out of some kind of felt like material. It is soft and probably has some foam inside to help the tool box stand up. But here is the best part...guess how much I paid for this little cutie?

And here is another bargain that I got the other day by couponing. Walgreens had this Sunsilk Mouse on sale for $1.09 per bottle. I had a coupon for $2.00 off of 2 bottles. So I bought 2 bottles and paid 18 cents plus tax for both of them!!! Wowwwwww!!!!

"Pass"

Yes, this is one of Hayden's first words. He dropped his "pass" behind our bed the other night and I asked him where "pass" was, and he said "pass" and pointed down in the crack. It was so cute. And he has said it a couple of more times since then, so I guess it has a name now.

Oh and he walked a few steps several times about a week ago, but then he got sick with some yucky stomach virus and has only wanted to be held. Well, I now know it is coming though. Watch out everyone!!

Carter's Lake--New Year's Day 2009

Apparently, this is going to become a new tradition for our family. Last year and this year on New Year's Day we went down to Carter's Lake in Georgia. Both times it has been freezing cold, but so beautiful. It is too cold for a picnic, so we just tak fun snacks in the car and enjoy the beautiful drive down there. I am not sure why we have never gone when we can actually picnic and enjoy the water...strange of us.

So many things to update on

Oh my, I have so much to update on, but it will have to wait until this week after the kids go back to school.

My computer has been acting up. I had like 30 viruses on it (no joking!!). So, that has been no fun to deal with and we are still dealing with it!! Ugh!!

Sorry I haven't been around, but that is my problem and I promise this week while there are no big kids around, I will update everything on Christmas with pics and all!!
