The Gifts
We get in life
By far none can compare
To the gift of
Loving-kindness
And the friends with whom we share;
The good times and the bad times,
The laughter and the tears,
The things that give us hope
And the things that cause us fear.
For everlasting friends are truly gifts from God above.
Through them He gives us all we need
Including
His Great

This poem was written by a good friend of mine, Carole Hicks. She is a VERY creative writer and recently moved to another city to further her career/education, but in the process moved away from many of her friends!
